About Cheryl Pratt
As an experienced and PACFA accredited counsellor based in Fremantle, I am deeply passionate about my work. Therapy is a precious gift and a profound privilege. My expertise in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) has been particularly rewarding, allowing me to witness remarkable transformations as individuals recover from trauma, rediscover their vitality, and reconnect with their authentic selves.
With over two decades of experience guiding adolescents, adults, and families through various life challenges, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our sessions. As your dedicated therapist, I assure you of unwavering confidentiality, profound respect, genuine empathy and a non-judgmental approach. My commitment to your well-being extends beyond our sessions, ensuring you receive the comprehensive support you need on your journey to healing.
My approach is deeply influenced by my personal journey as a cancer survivor, which has profoundly shaped my perspective on life and my therapeutic practice. I encourage trauma survivors to explore a holistic path to healing, incorporating various modalities such as yoga, somatic therapies, kinesiology, brain spotting, expressive arts, and spiritual practices – embracing whatever resonates with you on your path to wholeness and self-discovery.
